GLM4205:
What do you mean "How I post article?"
Are you asking how to post daily news articles? Or are you asking how to link to an article? Or are you asking something else?

Pkrpro: It's no different than it is with Facebook or MySpace, and no different than it was with programs of an earlier period, such as Friendster, Aimster, and as host of other programs that let you have chat "friends". Some people feel enriched by having this association, even if it's a very remote association. After all, look at how many people brag about how many "friends" they have on Facebook......but never seem to talk to anyone in their real world surroundings.

>all the rest is fairly pointless fluff. <
Actually, posting messages, clicking on news articles and voting in the poll are not at all pointless -- they just earn considerably fewer points than the first 5 prices you post each day.
But what bytebug probably meant by that comment is correct -- the primary function of the site by far and away is the gas price piece, something that a few seem to lose sight of.
Edpap, after you accept a buddy invite (or someone accepts one you send out), you will be able to go to your inbox and select from a list one "buddy" to whom you may send a private message. If you have no other buddies, the "GB Moderator" is the only one listed currently. As you add buddies, they will appear alphabetically below the moderator item. Anytime you want to drop someone as a buddy, you can use the "My Buddies" button in the Community menu to access your list and drop one or more of them, in addition to other things available there.

Other than entering prices, all the rest is fairly pointless fluff.

To answer your topic question, the following is provided in the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website, and can be found by clicking on the Help link at the top of each page:
Q: How can I get in touch with another member? Show Answer Link to This A: We now have a private messaging system on the website. After logging, you should see a small envelope icon at the top of your screen. Clicking on that takes you to the Private Message area. While in the Members Messaging Area there should be a link for "Help" just above your buddy list. Any instructions you may need can be found there
To answer your last question, there is a starting place; the one I mentioned above; the Help link directs you to getting answers, etc.
And thanks for asking where to look. That's always better than randomly disregarding caring about how to participate in a correct and efficient manner. And it's good to see that you're an apparent active price poster for your fellow Pennsylvania Gas Buddy members.
