  • keep vehicle clean, check tires, keep air filter clean, slow down, take off slower, use a more fuel efficient vehicle, keep a 2nd more fuel efficient vehicle on hand if necessary, fuel efficient spark plugs, keep vehicle tuned, plan your trips even to work, avoid heavy traffic, car pool even for shopping, walk, bike, take a bus, use solar panels on electric vehicles, use cruise control whenever possible, even in town
