I hate when stations use the credit card pricing. I don't carry cash. So i get charged more at a certain gas station, I just move on.

Pulled into get my first Diesel fill up for new SUV and the pumps were from the 70's and all rusted out. I did not trust the contents of what this thing was pumping.

I realized the price of gas at the pump was extremely high. I checked other local gas stations on my smart phone on and found a station with much cheaper price just down the road. Thanks GASBUDDY you are great.

What was the reason The last time you pulled into the gas station but changed your mind and decided not to fill up? Line up was too long. Figured the price would go down soon. No self serve in bad weather.

Price Issue - Was annoyed that they posted the cash prices on the marquis, but showed credit card prices on the pump.

A tanker truck was refilling when I went to the nearest gas station to fill up, so I went to another station.
Several pumps have not cut off automatically when the tank was full, so I quit using those pumps (at a local Kroger store - the folks I talked to didn't seem to be concerned).

A week ago and the credit machine would not work. I figured I do not have time to have to run inside. I tried three pumps and they all had the same issue. Went somewhere else.

Jun 9, 2012, 200+ mile round trip to Frankenmuth, MI. Local prices $3.59 per gal. Wal-Mart (15 miles away toward Frankenmuth) $3.49 per gal. Prices at destination & in area same or higher than local prices. Meijer $3.69 per gal, $3.59 with $0.10 discount for using Meijer card. Had half a tank at Frankenmuth, filled up at Wal-Mart on way home using Wal-Mart card, $0.03 discount per gal.
Jul 11,2012, trip to Bay City, MI. Local gas $3.49, Wal-Mart $3.42. Bay City & Meijer $3.25, $3.15 with Meijer card $0.10 discount per gal.

There have been no reported incidents of problems in using a cell phone while refueling. Regulations state that stations are to post signs that nothing battery operated is to be used near the pumps, just as a precautionary measure.
It is a hoax that Shell issed a warning after a cell phone did cause a fire at a pump. No such thing happened & shell issued no such alert.

Only on the rare occasion that I've pulled in expecting a certain price only to find out it's a cash price and there is a surcharge for credit. Some stations are deliberately deceptive in posting their prices.
